Gary grew up exploring the vibrant waters in the Atlantic Ocean including the Florida Keys, Gulf of Mexico, and Florida lakes, and rivers. 

 

Gary has traveled the world and lived across the USA but always considered Florida his home.  As an explorer, his adventures would lead him on to discovering many islands of the Caribbean and then the South Pacific -- footsteps his father tread many years before.  He designed and equipped a world class fishing boat in the US and delivered it to the Commonwealth of The Northern Mariana Island of Saipan, where he would meet with friends in pursuit of the next Trophy Fish.  They went on to win 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophies in a much coveted tournament while in Saipan.  For more than 30 years, Gary has landed Blue Marlin in the Mariana Trench to Tarpon in the Florida Keys, GT's in the Pacific and Bonefish in the Bahamas always looking to continue developing his fly fishing techniques and looking for the next catch.  Through his continued research and development of new materials, Flies 2 Fins products are now being used by experienced guides and anglers worldwide, many who participate in tournaments, are pursuing world records, as well as others for just the last great catch and memories.

 

Gary's innovation is due to his passion and curiosity for fly fishing, a sport that is challenging but also has led him to adventures, and making life long friends.
