Handling Fish Responsibly

​When handling salt water fish species know and understand the rules for after you have landed it.  This is critical information to know!

When handling a salt water fish after you have landed it, it’s important to keep the fish in the water.  Please refer to the Bonefish, Tarpon Trust Guidelines For Fish Handling for all saltwater species you land.  Handling a fish improperly for vanity photos will greatly damage a fish’s internal organs and affect the revival success rate of the fish.  Once again, please refer to your Guide for direction if you wish to have a photo taken prior to the fish’s release.

We prefer catch & release...to preserve fish specifies for future generations.
